Governor of Akwa Ibom bans 10pm to 4am curfew in his state   Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom, has courageously banned the 10pm to 4am curfew imposed by the Federal Government, and lifted 8pm to 6am curfew in his state. He did this in order to curb criminal activities, and the spread of Covid-19 in Akwa Ibom. He has warned that anyone caught between 8pm and 6am, apart from people on essential services, will be treated as a criminal. This was made known through his routine Radio and Television Interaction with the citizens. His statement goes thus, “Curfew in Akwa Ibom State is 8 pm-6 am, and not 10 pm to 4 am.
